Bin generation and analysis requires a projected coordinate system and a default projection of World Cylindrical Equal Area has been applied.
Creating bins of squares or hexagons requires a projected coordinate system. Since a projected coordinate system was not provided, analysis will be completed using the World Cylindrical Equal Area projection.
This is an informative message. To specify a different projected coordinate system, set the processing spatial reference in the Environment Settings.
When running analysis, GeoAnalytics Tools will use the processing spatial reference if it is set. If there is no processing spatial reference set, the spatial reference of the input layer will be used. When applying binning, if the output coordinate system and input layer are geographic, analysis will default to World Cylindrical Equal Area.
