Clone a site or page

Cloning is a useful practice when you want to create a new version of a site or a page to edit without affecting the current version.

A cloned site is its own item with its own core team group and content group. This means that any modifications made to the original site are not reflected on the cloned version. A cloned page is its own item that's shared to its site's core team group and content group.

Note:

Cloning does not generate cloned versions of items included in a site's content library (content group) or on its layout. Maps displayed on a site layout using the map card are the only exception.
