Configure site settings

Every site has its own settings and capabilities that administrators, the site's owner, and core team members can configure.

Configure basemaps and extent

Complete the following steps to configure basemaps and the extent.

  1. Open a site in edit mode and click Settings on the side panel.
  2. Click Set Map and use the drop-down menu to select a basemap.

    Note:
    If a custom basemap has been added to the basemap gallery, it will appear in this list. If you don't see the basemap you're looking for, add the basemap to the gallery or contact your Enterprise administrator.

  3. Add an extent by zooming and panning to a location on the map.

Configure interactions

Administrators, site owners, and core team members can enable or disable the following:

  1. Open a site in edit mode.
  2. Click Settings on the side panel.
  3. Click Interactions and choose to enable or disable the following:
  4. Click Save.

Configure data settings

Choose to enable or disable settings related to data.

Change site URL

A site's URL is the web address people use to access your site. When you create a new site, a default URL is generated for you based on the name you provided. You can, however, change your URL manually by following these steps.

  1. Open a site in edit mode and click Settings on the side panel.
  2. Click Domain settings.
  3. Click Modify Domain Settings and follow the in-app instructions to modify the URL.
