Cet exemple de script lit une liste (au format de fichier texte) de fichiers de définition de services (SD) et publie chaque SD sous la forme d'un service. Cela est particulière utile pour déployer le même jeu de services sur plusieurs ordinateurs dans un laboratoire ou procéder à un déploiement sur des serveurs de développement, intermédiaires et de production.
Le fichier en entrée doit être structuré comme suit :

- SD : chemin d'accès au fichier de définition de service. Cet emplacement doit être visible pour ArcGIS Server, mais il ne doit pas nécessairement être inscrit auprès d'ArcGIS Server.
- folderName : nom du dossier ArcGIS Server qui doit contenir le service. Le dossier doit exister. Si vous oubliez cette propriété, le service est publié au niveau racine.
- serviceName : nom du service si vous souhaitez ignorer le nom de la définition de service.
- clusterName : nom de la grappe ArcGIS Server sur lequel le service doit être déployé. S'il n'est pas spécifié, le service est publié sur la grappe par défaut.
Le script vérifie d'abord si le service existe dans le dossier spécifié. Si c'est le cas, il est supprimé, puis republié. Ainsi, le fichier texte peut contenir une longue liste de services à déployer ou uniquement un service à mettre à jour.
