When your implementation has multiple monitor services running on a single ArcGIS Monitor machine, it is important to stagger collection times to reduce the risk of CPU usage spikes. All monitor services start collecting data at the same time by default. Perform the follow steps to stagger the collection times.
- Start a command prompt as an administrator on the machine where the Monitor Server application is installed.
- Change directories to the <Installation location>\ArcGIS Monitor\Administrator\resources\app\collector directory.
- Type the following command into the command prompt:
amRestartCollectors.vbs
All ArcGIS Monitor <Name> services are restarted and their collection times are staggered.
