You would uninstall ArcGIS Data Store for any of the following reasons:
- You've moved your data store to another machine and no longer need ArcGIS Data Store installed on the old one.
- You decide you do not want a standby machine in your relational data store or you want to remove one of the machines from your tile cache or spatiotemporal big data store, so you remove the data store machine and uninstall ArcGIS Data Store.
- You had an object store running on its own set of machines, and you upgraded to a version of ArcGIS Data Store that doesn't support the object store.
- You no longer want to use ArcGIS Data Store.
Uninstalling ArcGIS Data Store also unregisters the data store from your GIS Server site. Hosted feature layers that used the data in the data store and caches used by any scene layers you published to your portal will no longer function once you uninstall the software. However, the data still exists because the data store directory remains on the server after you uninstall ArcGIS Data Store. If you later decide you need the feature layers, you can reinstall ArcGIS Data Store and register the data store with the same GIS Server site.
Caution:
Before uninstalling ArcGIS Data Store, shut down all nonessential applications.
Use one of the following methods to uninstall ArcGIS Data Store from a machine:
Uninstall with user interface
- On Microsoft Windows desktop, click Start > Control Panel (switch to Classic View, if necessary) and Programs and Features.
- Select ArcGIS Data Store from the Programs list.
- Select Remove to remove ArcGIS Data Store from this machine.
Uninstall silently
To uninstall ArcGIS Data Store silently, run this command from the command line:
msiexec /x {45E1C306-B1AB-4AE5-8435-818F0F9F8821} /qb
To uninstall ArcGIS Data Store 10.8 silently, run this command from the command line:
msiexec /x {2018A7D8-CBE8-4BCF-AF0E-C9AAFB4C9B6D} /qb
To uninstall ArcGIS Data Store 10.7.1 silently:
msiexec /x {112E5FD0-9DD2-45DA-ACD5-A21AA45F67E2} /qb
To uninstall ArcGIS Data Store 10.7 silently:
msiexec /x {2B19AB45-1A17-45CD-8001-0608E8D72447} /qb
