The ArcGIS for INSPIRE Classic Desktop extension includes ArcMap and ArcCatalog tools to use with INSPIRE Classic layers in map documents and for administering INSPIRE Classic map services.
ArcMap tools for INSPIRE Classic layers
The INSPIRE Classic tools add-in provides additional INSPIRE Classic functionality for ArcMap. These tools allow you to add INSPIRE Classic layers to the current map document, hiding the complexity of the INSPIRE Classic data model and automatically carrying out all steps required for the creation of an appropriate map. They also create group layers, add corresponding geodatabase feature classes, and set the required joins and relates among features.
ArcCatalog administration tools for INSPIRE Classic services
The INSPIRE Classic tools for ArcMap and ArcCatalog enable the configuration and management of ArcGIS Server services. In addition to the default service types supported by ArcGIS Server (for example, KML, WFS, WCS), ArcGIS for INSPIRE Classic enables extended INSPIRE Classic service types. These include the INSPIRE Classic View Service, the INSPIRE Classic Feature Download service, and the INSPIRE Classic Predefined Dataset Download Service. Thus, the administration of these INSPIRE Classic network services becomes part of the general administration workflow for services that are ArcGIS Server based.
