Counters in ArcGIS Monitor

Counters monitor and record metrics on the status, availability, usage, system performance, and resource usage of your enterprise GIS.

ArcGIS Monitor supports the following counter types:

Counter name	Description
Amazon	The Amazon counter provides metrics on the last time a data sample was collected.
ArcGIS	The ArcGIS counter provides metrics on your ArcGIS servers and services.
DB	The DB counter provides metrics on the last time a data sample was collected.
Ext	The Ext counter is reserved for custom monitor extensions provided by Esri.
Http	The Http counter provides metrics on response times and the number of bytes used in an HTTP request for a specific URL.
Portal	The portal counter provides metrics on the total count of desktop, web, and all items in the portal.
Process	The process counter provides aggregated metrics for a named process.
RDP	The RDP counter provides metrics on the number of total, inactive, and active remote desktop sessions.
System	The system counter provides metrics on system performance and resource usage.
