What's new in ArcGIS Monitor

ArcGIS Monitor 10.6.1 includes new counters and enhancements to ArcGIS Monitor Administrator and ArcGIS Monitor Server.

New counters

The following are new counters in ArcGIS Monitor:

  • Counters for status, cores, and memory for workers are now available for ArcGIS GeoAnalytics Server on the GeoAnalytics tab.
  • ArcGIS and portal counter types now include a health check counter that allows you to quickly check the health of ArcGIS Server or Portal for ArcGIS directly from ArcGIS REST API.

ArcGIS Monitor Administrator

You can now use credentials for Windows administrative users in the ArcGIS Server built-in store or Windows domain for ArcGIS, portal, and Http counter types in federated and nonfederated environments. Secured ArcGIS Server services that require a token can also use Windows authentication if the user that's running the ArcGIS Monitor service has privileges to access the target site or service.

ArcGIS Monitor Server

The following new features are now available in ArcGIS Monitor Server:

  • Alerts have been moved to a new tab that allows you to filter and sort alerts based on status. Links to charts, statistics, and counter-specific information are now available, allowing you to quickly access high-priority warnings and errors with a single click.
  • The Home tab includes high-level status icons that summarize the overall health of your collections.
  • Availability is a new tab that provides high-level status icons that summarize the overall availability of your collections.
