Set language
Language determines the user interface as well as the way time, date, and numerical values appear. The user interface of the portal website can be viewed in the following languages:
Arabic | Korean |
Chinese (Simplified Han) | Latvian |
Czech | Lithuanian |
Danish | Norwegian |
Dutch | Polish |
English | Portuguese (Brazil) |
Estonian | Portuguese (Portugal) |
Finnish | Romanian |
French | Russian |
German | Spanish |
Greek (added in Portal for ArcGIS 10.3.1) | Swedish |
Hebrew | Thai |
Italian | Turkish |
Japanese | Vietnamese (added in Portal for ArcGIS 10.3.1) |
The display language of the portal website is determined by the organization language specified by the portal administrator. If you want to view the website in your own preferred language instead of the organization language, you can do so by setting the language in your user profile as described in the steps below. If you're an anonymous user of the portal (meaning you do not have an account in the organization), you cannot change the language.
Note:
Changing the user profile locale will only update the user interface of the portal to display in the language you prefer. To view the portal help in a non-English language, your portal administrator will need to download and install the language pack from My Esri.
Also note that the scene viewer currently does not support Arabic or Hebrew. The user interface appears in English for these languages.
