What can you add to your portal?

The following list shows which types of items you can add to your portal. Services published to ArcGIS Server sites you have federated with your portal are added automatically as items in your portal. All items added directly to the portal or added when a service is published to a federated server appear in the personal storage space (My Content) of the account that added or published the item.

You must have privileges to create content to add any of the following to your portal.

Note:

Some item types are automatically added to My Content when you create and save them through a related app or workflow but can't be added through Add Item. For example, a web map item is created through the map viewer, ArcGIS Pro, or My Content > Create*, and a web scene item is created through the scene viewer, ArcGIS Pro, or My Content > Create*.

*The item can only be created using My Content > Create if your portal's hosting server uses a relational data store created through ArcGIS Data Store.
