As an administrator, you can customize ArcGIS Enterprise to meet requirements and fit the look and feel of your organization. Many of these configuration options are supported through the portal. You can configure your organization to meet requirements in regards to the following:
- Dedicated ArcGIS Server sites
- Security settings
- The services that are used for printing, geocoding, geometric calculations, routing, and more
- The use of comments on items
- The default language and number and date format
- Item classification schemas
You can also customize the look and feel of your organization. For example, you can do the following:
- Add a logo and banner
- Feature your organization's content on the home page
- Highlight specific content in the gallery
- Customize basemaps in Map Viewer
In many cases, you will use site configuration groups to manage custom content, such as template and basemap galleries. For more information, see Site configuration groups.
