Content items, search results, and groups can be accessed directly by a URL. This means you can link to an item page, map, list of search results, or group by copying and pasting the URL that appears in the address bar of your web browser, for example, https://webadaptorhost.example.com/webadaptorname/home/webmap/viewer.html?webmap=35c2e978623849a098acd04f9dfbfb4d. Using direct URLs allows you to promote items in your portal through email and your organization's website.
