You are publishing a tiled map service using the ArcGIS Online/Google Maps/Bing Maps tiling scheme and there is no datum transformation from your data frame's datum to WGS 1984 Major Auxiliary Sphere. WGS 1984 Major Auxiliary Sphere is the datum for the WGS 1984 Web Mercator (Auxiliary Sphere) coordinate system used by the ArcGIS Online/Google Maps/Bing Maps tiling scheme. Tiles cannot be created accurately without a proper datum transformation.
Solution
- If you will not be overlaying your service with ArcGIS Online, Google Maps, or Bing Maps and you do not want your cached service to use WGS 1984 Web Mercator (Auxiliary Sphere), choose a tiling scheme that uses the same coordinate system as your data frame.
Tip:
If you don't have an existing tiling scheme to choose from, create a new one using the Custom option from the Tiling Scheme drop-down list.
- Create an appropriate custom transformation from your data frame's spatial reference's geographic coordinate system to the geographic coordinate system for the ArcGIS Online/Google Maps/Bing Maps tiling scheme, which is WGS 1984 Major Auxiliary Sphere.
More information
All tiling schemes are associated with a spatial reference. Your data frame's spatial reference must match the spatial reference of your tiling scheme for tiles to be created.
