You can obtain Esri virtual machine images from the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. The following images are available:
- ArcGIS Enterprise—Contains Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Data Store, and ArcGIS Notebook Server and creates machines that use a Microsoft Windows Server 2019 operating system. To use this image to create an ArcGIS Enterprise deployment, you must have Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Server licenses. See system requirements for each for information on what type of Azure virtual machine to use when deploying:
- ArcGIS Desktop—Contains ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap) and ArcGIS Pro and creates machines that use Windows Server 2019. To use the software on these images, you must have an ArcGIS Desktop license. See ArcGIS Pro system requirements and ArcGIS Desktop system requirements for information hardware and software requirements for these products.
Go to Microsoft Azure Marketplace and search for arcgis or esri to find the images. Download them to your Microsoft Azure subscription.
Microsoft Azure Government
The ArcGIS 10.3.1 and 10.5.x through 10.8.1 images are available in the Microsoft Azure Government cloud environment.
