Delete a server directory in Server Manager

You can use ArcGIS Server Manager to delete a server directory. To do so, follow the steps below.

Note:

Before deleting a server cache directory, you must ensure that any service using the directory is edited to use a different cache directory.

Optionally, you can also choose to delete the cache of the map or image service using the DeleteMapServerCache geoprocessing tool. This will set the service to render dynamically using the data from the data source.

1. Open ArcGIS Server Manager and sign in.
2. Click Site > Server Configuration > Directories.
3. Locate the server directory you want to configure and click Delete .

   The Delete Directory dialog box appears.

4. Click Delete to delete the server directory.
