What's new in ArcGIS Video Server

ArcGIS Video Server is a new server role for ArcGIS Enterprise 11.2 that allows you to index, search, publish, and stream video as a service with geospatial and temporal context.

You can do the following with ArcGIS Video Server:

  • Publish video over the web and extend access to the videos across ArcGIS.
  • Use of file-based videos to create video services that are optimized for video viewing and map interaction.
  • Use adaptive bitrate streaming to enable web-based delivery of video to mobile, web, and desktop clients.
  • Search by location to quickly find or discover videos. Pair it with client apps such as ArcGIS Excalibur to extract and analyze information.
  • Stream live video feeds for near real-time insights.
