ArcGIS Enterprise Cloud Builder for Microsoft Azure is an application you install on your local Microsoft Windows machine to deploy ArcGIS Enterprise and stand-alone ArcGIS Server sites on Microsoft Azure. It helps you to extend your Azure implementation to include ArcGIS.
Make sure your local Windows machine meets the following prerequisites, download the installation file, and install.
Prerequisites
You can install ArcGIS Enterprise Cloud Builder for Microsoft Azure on the following Microsoft Windows operating systems:
- Windows 8.1 Basic, Pro, and Enterprise
- Windows Server 2012 Standard and Datacenter
- Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard and Datacenter
- Windows Server 2016 Standard and Datacenter
- Windows Server 2019 Standard and Datacenter
- Windows Server 2022 Standard and Datacenter
- Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 must be installed prior to installing ArcGIS Enterprise Cloud Builder for Microsoft Azure.
An administrator of your Azure subscription must enable programmatic deployment of the ArcGIS images before you can use ArcGIS Enterprise Cloud Builder for Microsoft Azure to deploy ArcGIS Enterprise or an ArcGIS Server site.
Be aware that Azure applies quota limitations. Read the quota descriptions in Microsoft Azure documentation for more information.
Install Cloud Builder
Follow these steps to install ArcGIS Enterprise Cloud Builder for Microsoft Azure:
- Download the 10.9.1 ArcGIS Enterprise Cloud Builder for Microsoft Azure installation file.
ArcGIS Enterprise Cloud Builder for Microsoft Azure is available to anyone who has purchased ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Place the installation file on the computer where you want to install ArcGIS Enterprise Cloud Builder for Microsoft Azure.
- Launch the ClickOnce (.application) file.
Cloud Builder automatically opens when installation is complete.
To open the application later, use the shortcut created in your Windows Start menu or search for ArcGIS Enterprise Cloud Builder for Microsoft Azure.
