Developing with ArcGIS Workflow Manager (Classic) Server

ArcGIS Workflow Manager (Classic) Server is an ArcGIS Server extension that provides a framework to organize, centralize, and standardize project workflows using web services through a service-based architecture. The ArcGIS Workflow Manager (Classic) Server service allows you to integrate your existing business processes with your GIS workflows as you develop your solutions for the web and mobile devices.

The following are some of the resources you can use to develop:

  • The ArcGIS Workflow Manager (Classic) JavaScript Application is a complete workflow management app that allows for ease and efficiency toward managing and tracking business workflows. The JavaScript Viewer is easily configurable to meet custom business needs and requirements. No programming skills are required to deploy it.
  • ArcGIS Workflow Manager (Classic) widget enables users to integrate ArcGIS Workflow Manager (Classic) Server functionality in their own applications created in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder.
  • API for JavaScript contains detailed descriptions for each class in the ArcGIS Workflow Manager (Classic) 3.x JavaScript API. A 4.x JavaScript API is also available and has been integrated with ArcGIS API for JavaScript versions 4.3 through 4.12.
  • The ArcGIS Workflow Manager (Classic) Server REST API provides a simple, open web interface to workflow management capabilities hosted by ArcGIS Server.
