ArcGIS Video Server uses certain ports to communicate with machines on the internet and intranet. These ports must be allowed by firewalls for the site to function correctly.
HTTPS port 21443
ArcGIS Video Server communicates through port 21443 by default. Ensure that your firewall allows HTTPS communication through this port. Unless you have disabled direct administrative access (routing traffic through your web adaptor instead), your users can access the server through port 21443.
HTTP port 21080
This is the port ArcGIS Video Server uses for internal-only communication. ArcGIS Video Server uses port 21080 for HTTP communication. ArcGIS Video Server is configured to automatically redirect anyone who uses port 21080 to port 21443, the HTTPS port.
ArcGIS Enterprise ports
ArcGIS Video Server communicates with Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Server with the Hosting Server role. These both have their own port requirements, which must be satisfied to ensure that ArcGIS Video Server has full communication capabilities across the software.
Livestream ports
By default, ArcGIS Video Server uses the ports listed below for livestreams. These can be modified at the /admin/system/livestream/serverPorts/update/ endpoint by an administrator.
- RTMP port: 1935
- RTSP port: 554
- SRT/UDP port range: 49152-65535
Additional ports
Ports 45671 and 45672—These ports are used by the queue store that communicates with ArcGIS Video Server. These should be opened on the ArcGIS Data Store and Video Server machines.
Ports 29878 and 29879—These ports are used by the Ozone Object Store if it's being used. These should be opened on the Data Store and Video Server machines.
