Browse Living Atlas content on the Content page

If your portal administrator configured the portal to use ArcGIS Living Atlas of the World content created by Esri, you can browse for Living Atlas maps, scenes, and web mapping apps from the Esri Featured Content tab of the gallery if you are using ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6. If you are using ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1, you can browse this content using the Living Atlas tab on the Content page.

Follow these steps to browse and view Living Atlas content on the Content page in ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1:

  1. Sign in to your portal.
  2. Click Content at the top of the portal website.
  3. Click the Living Atlas tab.

    This returns all Living Atlas maps, scenes, and web mapping apps.

  4. Hover over an item to read more information about it and to access options to open the item's page or open the item in Map Viewer, ArcMap, or Scene Viewer.
    • To open the item's page, click Details.
    • To open a map in Map Viewer, click Open > Open in Map Viewer.
    • To open a map in ArcMap, click Open > Open in ArcGIS Desktop.
    • To open a scene in Scene Viewer, click Open > Open in Scene Viewer.
    • To preview a web mapping app, click Open > View Application.

Browse for Living Atlas in 10.6

Follow these steps to browse and view Living Atlas content in the portal gallery in ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6:

  1. Sign in to your portal.
  2. Click Gallery at the top of the portal website.
  3. Click the Esri Featured Content tab.

    This returns all Living Atlas maps, scenes, and web mapping apps.

  4. Hover over an item to read more information about it and to access options to open the item's page or open the item in Map Viewer, ArcMap, or Scene Viewer.
    • To open the item's page, click Details.
    • To open a map in Map Viewer, click Open > Open in Map Viewer.
    • To open a map in ArcMap, click Open > Open in ArcGIS Desktop.
    • To open a scene in Scene Viewer, click Open > Open in Scene Viewer.
    • To preview a web mapping app, click Open > View Application.
