Consultez le support technique Esri pour en savoir plus sur la Esri stratégie de prise en charge des environnements.

Supported cloud-based database service editions and versions

The following versions of Microsoft Azure database service offerings are supported with ArcGIS Enterprise Cloud Builder for Microsoft Azure:

  • Microsoft Azure SQL Database and Microsoft Azure SQL Managed Instance*—Version 12
  • Microsoft Azure Database for PostgreSQL Single Server—Versions 10.x and 11.x

*Changes Microsoft Azure has made for SQL Managed Instance may prevent deployment using ArcGIS Enterprise Cloud Builder for Microsoft Azure. If you experience issues, use the Microsoft Azure portal to create the instance.

For information on Azure database support with ArcGIS in general, see Requirements for using ArcGIS with databases in the cloud.

Database requirements/limitations

ArcGIS connections to Microsoft Azure must originate from machines within Microsoft Azure, and connections should originate from machines within the same Azure region.

See the following Microsoft Azure documentation for more information on these database offerings:

Software required to connect to a DBMS

When you create a deployment using ArcGIS Enterprise Cloud Builder for Microsoft Azure, a supported version of the Microsoft SQL Server ODBC driver is installed on ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Pro machines to allow you to connect to Microsoft Azure SQL Database. As Azure upgrades Microsoft Azure SQL Database, you'll need to upgrade the ODBC driver to continue to connect. In addition, upgrading ArcGIS components may also require you to upgrade your ODBC driver. See ArcGIS requirements for Microsoft SQL Server for information on supported ODBC driver versions.
