New at 10.5.1
ArcGIS GeoEvent Server 10.5.1 includes stability enhancements and improved functionality throughout the product. For a list of issues that are fixed in 10.5.1, see the 10.5.1 Issues Addressed List. For a summary of changes in the software, see the following sections.
General updates
- In Global Settings, the values in the Geometry Processor Settings have been updated to be consistent with the Java Geometry API. Mile is now set to enabled/true by default.
- A warning is now logged in GeoEvent Server when the incident manager prematurely closes an incident (for example, when the maximum number of opened incidents has been reached).
- Modifying certificate settings using ArcGIS Server Administrative pages (either importRootOrIntermediate or update the Web Server Alias) no longer requires restarting GeoEvent Server.
- REST API documentation for all endpoints, easily accessible from the ArcGIS GeoEvent Server REST API.
Spatiotemporal big data store
- When publishing a feature service, the drop-down now includes the feature service that was published.
- New Auto option when setting the number of shards on a data source. GeoEvent Server automatically determines the best number of shards based on the number of data nodes in your spatiotemporal big data store.
- Updated and clarified the labels and tooltip on the ObjectID Option property in the Create Data Source dialog.
Connectors
- The Generic JSON and Text Adapters have been enhanced to use a default WKID.
