What's new in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.3

ArcGIS Enterprise 11.3 introduces new features for data management and administration, updates across applications, and enhanced functionality throughout the product. This page highlights some of the new features available at 11.3 and includes links to additional information for specific components and functionality.

Product highlights

  • Four new field data types are available for numeric and temporal data in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.3:
  • You can update ArcGIS Living Atlas content from the organization's Living Atlas page. You can immediately update or schedule an update when new content is made available by Esri.
  • Use the ArcGIS Urban app to seamlessly design, manage, and measure urban developments in your city and collaborate with stakeholders for detailed scenario planning. ArcGIS Urban requires an add-on license and additional installation.

Installation requirements

  • The Portal for ArcGIS (Windows) and ArcGIS Server (Windows) self-extracting packages now consist of two files with .exe and .exe.001 extensions. To extract the packages, ensure both files are in the same folder.
  • The new .NET 8-based ArcGIS Web Adaptor (IIS) requires ASP.NET Core Runtime - Windows Hosting Bundle 8.x.

ArcGIS Enterprise on Kubernetes

ArcGIS Enterprise on Kubernetes is a cloud-native deployment option for ArcGIS Enterprise. It is available alongside Windows and Linux deployment options. It delivers ArcGIS Enterprise in a containerized architecture, running on either your organization's Kubernetes platform or your cloud provider's Kubernetes service.

ArcGIS GeoPlanner
